By Style: twenty-eight companions, rearranged into twelve windows
Every good shop on the street shows its stock more than one way. One window is dressed by colour, the next by cut, the one after that by occasion, and a shopper who walks past all three sees the same rails from three angles. By Style does exactly that for The Selection. The twenty-eight companions stay who they are. This page simply regroups them into twelve smaller windows, each arranged around one plain fact from her profile.
It is the right page when you have a picture in mind but no name yet. Choose a window, look through four or fifteen portraits instead of twenty-eight, then open a profile to read how she likes to spend an evening around W1.

Hair, figure, age band
Four windows are dressed by hair: blondes, brunettes, raven and auburn. Five are dressed by figure, running from petite to statuesque. Three follow the age band, from the early twenties through the late twenties to the thirties and beyond. A companion appears in every window her facts support, so most of the twenty-eight turn up in three. Hair is recorded as she wears it this month and changed the week she changes it. Height and build were noted when she sat down with the desk, and the age band comes from the birth date on the identity document she showed in person. Every woman in every window is over 18.
Same ticket in every window
Style never changes a figure. Whichever window you stop at, the first hour costs £250 and a full night of ten hours £1,800, with ninety minutes, two hours, three hours and a four hour dinner on the rungs between. The rates page prints each one in pounds, and nothing reaches the total that is not printed there.
Windows we will never dress
No window sorts anyone by where she was born or where her family comes from, and none offers anything beyond time and companionship. Those gaps are deliberate. Twelve windows built from checked facts are enough to bring a long list down to three names, and three names is the point where a short conversation does the rest.
